Ashland, WI — The staff of the ABC Raceway has postponed Wednesday’s scheduled pre-season practice session due to the recent heavy rainfall. The promoters of stock car racing at the three-eighths-mile red-clay oval south of Ashland are hoping to host a practice night on Thursday, May 23, from 6-8 pm. Granite City – Mother Nature got a clean sweep Sunday night at the Granite City Speedway. Her persistent down pours soaked the grounds, forcing the track to cancel the night of racing. Lansing, MN–Heavy rains forced Chateau Raceway officials to cancel this weeks racing program. Over three inches of rain soaked the facility on Friday morning and afternoon.
