AMSOIL leads strong list of both new and
long-time returning sponsors for WISSOTA in '07

ALTOONA, WI (May 7) - A variety of companies have opted to come on board as sponsors with the WISSOTA Promoters Association, Inc. for the 2007 season and beyond.

Foremost on the list is AMSOIL, Inc. of Superior, WI, which signed a three-year contract to become the title sponsor for the WISSOTA AMSOIL Dirt Track Series. AMSOIL has a documented history in innovation and leadership in the synthetic oil and lubricant industry.

Other new notable sponsors that will contribute to the WISSOTA point fund with significant cash and product contributions include Crane Cams Ignitions of Daytona Beach, FL; AMB Identification & Timing of Smyrna, GA; AllStar Performance of Watervliet, MI; Raceceiver of Gainesville, GA; Dart Machinery of Troy, MI; and Wiseco Piston, Inc. of Mentor, OH.

Those new 2007 sponsors were added to the laundry list of companies that support WISSOTA by the marketing committee, which consists of WISSOTA president Terry Voeltz, treasurer Randy Queensland, public relations director Dennis Terning and sponsorship and marketing division chairman Scott Hughes.

Companies that have vowed to continue supporting WISSOTA are Hoosier Tire and Hoosier Tire North, Pro Comp Racing Methanol, Sunoco Race Fuels and Turbo Blue, QA1 Motorsports, Tri Star Engine Supply, Bassett Wheels, Bell Helmets, Bert Transmissions and Elmwood Racing, Brodix Cylinder Heads, Bushore Racing Enterprises, Champ Pans, Dirt Track Supply, Hi Per Flex Panel Systems, Intercomp, Isky Racing Cams, Lou Fegers Racing Equipment, Mars Racing, Muncie Novelty, Shirt Werks, Simes Graphics Design, Specialty Fabricating, Warrior Chassis, Weld Racing Wheels, World Products and Wrisco Industries.

Other long-term sponsors are considering updates and upgrades of their existing programs as well.

In addition, three chassis builders will each award a new chassis to a lucky driver during the national banquet in November. Mars Racing will award a Mastersbilt From Mars chassis to the top Mastersbilt in the final Late Model national standings; Terry Casey’s Rayburn North will present a chassis to the top Rayburn in points; and Specialty Fabricating will award a new chassis to the top J-Car in Modified national points.

And as if that wasn’t enough, during the first annual WISSOTA Auto Racing Expo (formerly RACEMN) held in conjunction with the WISSOTA annual meeting in St. Cloud, MN in November, at least six lucky drivers will go home with a new chassis from the following WISSOTA chassis program sponsors: Gator Chassis; Fast Lane Motorsports of Ashland, WI (Galloper Chassis); TRACE Racing (Tracer Modified Chassis); Elite Chassis; Eagle Chassis; and Duval Performance (Xtreme Chassis).
