Memorial Day Weekend WISSOTA Racing

Sauk Rapids (May 24, 2018) – As we enjoy WISSOTA racing this weekend, let us remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom and ability to do what we love. With a few more tracks trying their season opener this weekend, the Wollak Construction WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series presented by QA1 is back in action for 3 nights of racing starting at I-94 Speedway in Fergus Falls. WISSOTA weekly racing will take place across the region with many Memorial Day specials.

Grand Rapids Speedway – Grand Rapids, MN

We are heading up north for WISSOTA Late Model, Modified, Super Stocks, Midwest Modified, and Pure Stocks at the great Grand Rapids Speedway. The season opener will be one of 14 races on the lineup for 2018. On the northwest side of Grand Rapids, MN you will find this great 3/8ths mile dirt oval tucked in amongst the beautiful trees that trademark the great north of Minnesota. They start racing at 6:30, so hit the road right after work with the family to see some great racing action. All your information for this Thursday night race track can be found at grandrapidsspeedway.org.

Black Hills Speedway – Rapid City, SD

The Black Hills of South Dakota will be rumbling on Friday night when the WISSOTA Late Models, Super Stocks, Midwest Modified, and Street Stocks hit the track at Black Hills Speedway. The 1/2 mile dirt oval is sure to amaze the Memorial Day weekend travels that are heading out to see the great scenery in the Black Hills. Pack the Stands this Friday night at 7pm. That’s right it is a FREE admission night for all fans. Find out all of your information by visiting them on Facebook by searching Black Hills Speedway.

Emo Speedway – Emo, ON

Get your passports out for Saturday’s WISSOTA Modified and Midwest Modified racing in Ontario, Canada at Emo Speedway. The 3/8ths mile dirt oval is located just 2,000 feet from the border of Canada and the United States on the northwest side of Emo, ON. Hot laps kick off their season at 7pm with racing action starting at 7:30pm. Find all of your Emo Speedway information at borderlandracing.com.

Bemidji Speedway – Bemidji, MN

WISSOTA Modified, Super Stocks, Midwest Modified, Mod Fours, and Pure Stocks will take to the 3/8ths mile dirt oval on Sunday, May 27 for a great night of WISSOTA racing. Located just to the southwest of Bemidji has 17 events planned with the season opener on this Sunday, May 27. WAIT, there’s more!!! That’s right Bemidji Speedway will see two nights of racing action with a night of WISSOTA racing on Monday too! This is a great chance to see two nights of great action. Find all your Bemidji Speedway information by searching for them on your MyRacePass app.

With the extended weekend, be sure to check out racing on Monday at Bemidji Speedway, Eagle Valley Speedway, Madison Speedway, and Sheyenne Speedway. The holiday weekend also provides the chance to see some huge show with the Minnesota Mod Nationals at Ogilvie Raceway and two nights of Wollak Construction WISSOTA Late Model Challenge Series presented by QA1 at Viking Speedway.
